Hopkins Garden, located at the Hopkins Housing Complex in Southeast Washington, DC, was established as part of Bridge Park Plots, a network of community gardens and urban farms developed through the 11th Street Bridge Park initiative. Created in response to residents’ desire for more green spaces and urban agriculture, these gardens provide opportunities for community connection and well-being.
The Risa Fund supported wellness programming at Hopkins Garden, helping bring activities focused on health and well-being into this community space.
