Risa Fund Among the Sponsors of Mental Health Conference

The Risa Fund was a proud sponsor of a one-day conference on the unique mental health needs of emerging adults. Conference attendees included hospital-based physicians, community physicians, residents, fellows, medical students, psychologists, psychiatrists, guidance counselors, social workers, and other members of the healthcare team interested in adolescent and emerging adult mental health.

Reception Celebrates Mural’s Move to the Ronald Reagan Building

The opening reception for the 11th Street Bridge Park Mural Exhibit, a 55-foot wide mural created by local teen artists from Cesar Chavez Public Charter High School and ArtReach at THEARC, was held in the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.

Risa Fund Launches with Reception at Hillwood Museum

On January 8, 2014, family and friends of the Schonfelds gathered at the Hillwood Museum to honor Marisa and to launch the Risa Fund. The program included remarks by Gail and Burt Schonfeld, Paul Wardlaw, Bianca Aboubakare, Deirdre Saunder, and Todd Rubin; and concluded with a special performance by singer/songwriter, Laura Tsaggaris.
